Social responsibility is an inseparable part of Finpro’s operations
Finpro’s success is measured by the influence our operations have on Finland’s competitiveness and the international success of Finnish companies. Social responsibility is part of our strategy and an important area in our development.
First and foremost, our relationship with our clients, our members and our partners is characterised by what we do to promote their success in international markets. The cornerstones in these activities are: Finpro’s ethical operating principles, our ISO and CMC quality certification, our obligations to confidentiality and secrecy, understanding our clients’ operations and also the common objectives we are pursuing together with them. We foster long-term client and partner relationships and create different networks in Finland and in target markets. We also help our member companies in their networking activities.
We offer our clients concepts for sustainable development and work actively in the energy and environmental sectors. With Finpro as the pilot, Finland has set out to conquer global environmental technology markets; Cleantech Finland, a programme that supports the growth of Finnish environmental business, is building Finland’s reputation as a leader in environmental matters which also has the ability to deliver the best green technology.
Our Human Resources policies take account of equality issues and cultural differences and are designed to support real co-operation. Expertise and its development are the areas that we focus on, and Finproners are encouraged to continuously develop their skills either through opportunities offered in-house or by participating in external training.
In our office environment, we encourage ’green’ values in our travel policies and through our virtual conferences - and in training, by using internal electronic systems in IT and in the procurement of the products used in our offices.
