Official business delegations for Finnish companies
To improve public awareness, simplify networking and create contacts in target markets, Finpro organises official visits for Finnish companies intending to operate overseas. Commercial delegations can be led by a Finnish government minister and include company representatives from one specific sector or they can include companies from one or several operational sectors.
Finpro arranges commercial delegations in connection with official visits made by Finland's president and Finnish government ministers, primarily the Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Economic Affairs and the Minister for Communications. By participating in commercial delegations, companies can build and reinforce relationships with co-operation partners and decision-makers in their target countries, as well as generating favourable coverage in media channels.
All Finnish companies operating in international markets can participate in official visits: exporters or investors or companies who are seeking international partnerships or co-operation. The primary focus of commercial delegations is Asia, Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, Latin America and the CIS countries.
