Finnish ESO Industry Day in Helsinki
In June 2017, the Academy of Finland will host the European Southern Observatory’s ESO Industry Day in Helsinki. The event will present ESO’s large-scale research infrastructures and the business opportunities they offer to Finnish businesses in a wide range of fields.

The European Southern Observatory (ESO) is building the European Extremely Large Telescope (E-ELT) – the world’s largest telescope – in Chile. The E-ELT is expected to be operational in 2024. If you are interested in becoming a supplier of goods or services to this billion-euro project, then mark 21 June 2017 in your calendars now.
After the presentations, there will also be time for one-on-one meetings with ESO representatives.
The Finnish ESO Industry Day is organised by the Academy of Finland, Tekes and Finpro. The event is organised in cooperation with Finnish Centre for Astronomy with ESO (FINCA).
