Finnish technology superstars shine brightly at the Mobile World Congress 2017
Technology Superpower – a strong and bold statement indeed. For further verification, there were 32 companies at the Finland Pavilion at the MWC17, showing why that is true.
We stood out from the crowd at the huge event that witnessed a record-breaking year with over 100 000 visitors. Present at the stand was a wide variety of innovative companies delivering connectivity, IoT, 5G and digital health solutions.
Dominating the MWC news was, for instance, the collaboration between Nokia and HMD Global for bringing back the legendary Nokia 3310.
Moreover, 5G technology was again strong at the MWC. The Finland Pavilion did not make an exception in this regard. Finland's Minister of Transport and Communications, Anne Berner, came by the stand to open the week and elaborated on why Finland is a true technology superpower and why we are great with technologies like 5G, AR/VR and IoT.
But what exactly did our Finnish superstar companies showcase at the event?
