Looking for new business opportunities abroad? Join a Team Finland high-level business delegation to the country where you want to do business

Finpro organizes high-level business delegation visits for Finnish companies in cooperation with other Team Finland partners. The goal of these visits is to open doors, create contacts and improve networks for you in markets, which are of interest to you.

These business delegations are normally invited to join the high-level visits of the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister of Finland or Finnish government ministers as well as high-level officials from various ministries. By participating in delegations, you can foster your internationalization strategy by building and reinforcing relationships with partners and decision-makers in the country where you want to do business. Why should your company go to Tunisia and Morocco?
In Tunisia, the most pressing current issues in the environmental sector are in the fields where there is leading Finnish expertise. Waste management and water treatment are growth sectors in the Tunisian modernization projects with funding opportunities from the EU as well as International Development Banks.

A Memorandum of Understanding between Finland and Tunisia in the field of environmental cooperation offers a platform to support Finnish businesses in finding opportunities, partnerships and funding.

Finnish cleantech services and solutions can find demand in Morocco that aims to produce 52% of its energy needs through renewable energy by 2030.

Rapidly expanding cities with little urban planning create demand for improved waste management across Morocco. The management of the 80 million m3 of domestic liquid waste generated each year remains a serious issue. Hazardous waste from industrial and medical sources is a serious environmental and health risk due to lacking capacity of hazardous waste treatment and disposal plants. Regarding future investments, Morocco is planning to build 27 new waste treatment and sorting facilities.

Morocco's natural water resources are estimated to be among the lowest in the world, and the phreatic groundwater is draining off with an alarming rate of 860 million m3 per year. Morocco needs to develop further efficiency of water use, since agriculture alone engulfs 88% of the country's water resources. LEARN MORE
